I often have these dreams where something is wrong with my teeth. The most common version is that my jaw will not open, and my teeth are clenched together so tightly that they start to break and grind into each other. You might say that I'm just grinding my teeth in my sleep, but I think I've had these dreams and awoke in the middle of them to find my mouth wide open.

Yesterday I had a similar one, except here all the damage had already been done, and all of my teeth were jagged, broken, and rotting. The interesting thing, besides the feeling of pain and a bunch of sharp teeth in my mouth, was that I woke up once or twice during the dream. Each time I had the distinct feeling that my teeth went from being broken and all fucked up while asleep, to fine and normal while I was awake, and then back again.

I've also been having a lot of dreams about apocolyptic battles with the devil. In one I fought him with a long pole, and managed to hook him by his horns, and then shove him through a small hole in the roof so that he couldn't get back in the house. In the other one I had a sword that had been baptized with the name SATAN, and I fought him with the sword, even though I knew that the world was doomed.

Last night I dreamt that I was the singer in a Misfits cover band and we played a show in my old high school lunchroom.
